Visit to Charlotte

About three years I was given the opportunity to move into a house with four other girls.  I was super excited for a change, but at the last minute I started freaking out and thought it was going to be a huge mistake to move in with those girls.  However, I was out of options so I had no other choice.  Two of those original girls turned out to be the biggest gift from the Lord imaginable...Cobb and Lauren.  Then a year after that He brought me Kate...but that's for another post.


Last year one of those Godsend friends, Lauren, moved to Charlotte, NC.  Cobb and I drove her out there and helped her move in last June.  Luckily her family lives in Dallas so when she comes home to visit we get to see her too.  However, I was the lucky one this summer in that I got to go out there and spend a weekend with her.  Cobb was extremely jealous!


I got to spend the weekend with her and loved it!  She just moved into the most amazing house with a friend.  I loved getting to see where she lives, meet her friends, and just experience her life out there.  It's not the same talking on the phone or seeing pictures.  She kept telling people that all we did that weekend was eat and shop...but that was the perfect trip for me!
