Back To School Bash

So my girls from school got this idea for a Back to School party from somebody who threw one last year!  Everyone was supposed to dress up like “back to school” and that could be any interpretation that they wanted it to be.

I was hoping to be a cheerleader and wear my uniform from high school because seeing as how I was a real fatty back then, I was so excited to be able to fit back in that uniform with even some room to spare!  However, that was not the case!  Debo and I searched her whole upstairs and no uniform was found.  The interesting part to me is that she still has my old megaphone, pom-poms from high school AND junior high, every Burn Baldy shirt I ever made, and even my cheerleading yard sign…but NOT any of my uniforms!  If this is anything like Christmas she will find those uniforms one day this week!

So luckily Jodi came through for me and let me borrow the outfit she once wore to a party like this! 

Oh my goodness…my friends cracked me up with how they were dressed!

My favorite was that Ashley’s husband Ben made some PB & J sandwiches for one of the snacks…too cute!

We hung out in the garage and outside mostly while people talked and played some beverage games!  I dominated at Flip Cup, but that could have something to do with the fact that I was drinking water only!

I say it over and over again…but I LOVE this group of friends!  They crack me up and we’ve just come to be a little family! 

We had a blast!
